McCoy: A Star May Have Been Born In UD Arena

It was only small Division II Cedarville, but a packed house at UD Arena thoroughly enjoyed the University of Dayton' basketball team's 94-60 exhibition victory spliced together by 11 freshmen and led by sophomore transfer (from the University of Georgia) Toumani Camara, who scored 20 points and slammed down a pair of dunks to thrill the throng. McCoy: UD Flyers Run Into ‘Trap Game’ At Valparaiso

The Flyers took its first possession and looked as if they wouldn’t stop until they reached the banks of Lake Michigan. The Beacons took it right away with that long second half kickoff return. Despite a 1-5 record, the Beacons outscored the Flyers Saturday afternoon on Brown Field, 45-28.
