McCoy: UD ‘Spotlights’ Mental Awareness And Basketball

It was an exhibition if college basketball between the University of Dayton and Ohio State Saturday night at UD Arena, but it was more about charity, a 'Spotlight' on mental health and mental illness awareness and was highlighted by an appearances from former UD All-American and College Player of the Year, Obi Toppin, who donated $20,000.

McCoy: Flyers Become Presbyterian’s First PFL Victim

The University of Dayton football team fell behind, 17-0, after three quarters to Presbyterian Saturday afternoon in Welcome Stadium. then scored 17 points in the fourth quarter to tie it, 17-17, but lost it on an overtime field goal to become the first team in the Pioneer Football League to ever lose to Presbyterian.

McCoy: UD Flyers Make Some Statements To Taylor

Once again the Dayton Flyers ran up a quick early lead against Taylor, just as they did the week before against Central State. Both weeks the Flyers took their feet off the pedal and let CSU and Taylor get back into the game, then jammed the pedal to the metal and beat Taylor, 52-20.
