Greg Billing began covering high school, college and professional sports in the Miami Valley in 1988 when he was a junior at Miami East High School. The Wright State University graduate has worked at the Troy Daily News (1996-1997), Springfield News-Sun (1997-2001) and the Dayton Daily News (2001-2016). He was inducted into the Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club's (DARF) Hall of Fame in 2015 for his auto racing coverage and has also earned numerous Associated Press awards for stories, headline writing and special sports sections. Greg lives in West Milton with his wife and two daughters. When not covering events, he and his wife are cheering for the girls as they play a variety of sports for the Milton-Union Bulldogs.

Loramie Celebrates 50 Seasons … And Another Win

Fort Loramie hosted past coaches, players and support staff to celebrate the 50th season of the girls basketball program. Decades later little has changed. Fort Loramie won again Saturday with a hard-earned victory over Ottawa-Glandorf, a team with a proud tradition of its own.

Target practice: Tipp Marked Team With State Ranking

Tippecanoe is ranked No. 5 in the Division II state poll, meaning the Red Devils are a target for every opponent. Piqua took its best shot Friday night. The Indians trailed by three midway through the fourth quarter before Tipp pulled away for the 68-53 win.

Fort Loramie Defense Slows Down Minster

JC’s Reichert, New Faces Help Tigers Top Coldwater

Jackson Center outscored Coldwater 18-4 in the second quarter to pull away for 57-32 victory on Saturday night. The win snapped the Tigers' two-game losing streak. The Cavaliers, who had just five days of practice before tipping off the season, suffered their first loss.
