Undertaking an unthinkable situation following a tragic loss, Russia's Spencer Cordonnier stepped in at the 11th hour to guide the the Raiders to a share of the Shelby County League title, the sectional, district and regi0nal title, and all the way to the Division IV OHSAA state semi -final game. We appreciatively recognize him as our 2023 area boys basketball Coach of The Year.

Softball Skins’ Game…Loramie Edges St. Henry In Their Final At Bat

Russia Edges Jackson Center In Pulsating Final

There was no flow in the third meeting of SCL co-champions Jackson Center and Russia with a Division IV regional title on the line...a final game for one and a launching pad for another to the state tournament...all of it hinging on a final shot that left Zeb Borchers, Dave Borchers' oldest son, snipping the final strand of net in the victory celebration.
