The Red Devils kept adding to their accolades on Friday night. Tipp, undefeated and ranked No. 3 in the Division II state poll, clinched the Miami Valley League championship with a 67-53 victory against Sidney. The league title is the program's first since 2010.

They represent the quietest unbeaten team in area girls basketball.  And Tipp stayed clean Wednesday with their defense (below) and a sluggish win over Troy, sweeping the season series over the Trojans. Read about the game in today's Press Pros.

Butler welcomed Tyler Montague back from an injury (below) and his 10 points of the bench. But Troy got 29 points from Shaeden Olden off the bench...and it wasn't enough. The Trojans fell to the Aviators in Wednesday night Miami Valley League action.

Tippecanoe is ranked No. 5 in the Division II state poll, meaning the Red Devils are a target for every opponent. Piqua took its best shot Friday night. The Indians trailed by three midway through the fourth quarter before Tipp pulled away for the 68-53 win.
