What A Rush: Medley’s 310 Yards Carries Piqua Past Tipp

Three carries into the game Piqua's Jasiah Medley had 136 yards and two touchdowns. It didn't end there. Medley and the Indians moved a game closer to chasing down the Miami Valley League title with a 42-23 victory against the surging Tippecanoe Red Devils on Friday night. Tipp Pushes The Tempo In Rivalry Win vs. Troy

The Tippecanoe Red Devils started fast ... and ran off with a 31-16 victory over the Troy Trojans on Friday night. The win gave Tipp coach Matt Burgbacher a second win over his former team in three tries, and it also set up a Miami Valley League clash with undefeated Piqua next week.

The Bucs Stopped Here: Indians, Ouhl Throw Xenia For Loss

A big lead in one game and monsoon-like conditions in another prevented Piqua from throwing the ball during its first two games. On Friday night -- a night where Piqua celebrated first responders and honored Patriots Day with post-game fireworks -- the Indians gave Brady Ouhl the green light. The result was a pair of TD passes (including a 70-yarder) and a 35-6 victory.
