It took ten innings and many of the same frustrations of a lost season.  But in the end the Buckeyes and Tyler Pettorini (above, center) celebrated his game-winning double on Senior Day to send the crowd home with a smile...11-10 over Illinois, in ten innings.

The score was better, and the pitching was better.  But in the end the familiar issues of free bases and sloppy play allowing a run in the top of the ninth (above) cost Ohis State its 36th loss of the season in a 4-2 decision to Illinois.
