Mike Gast's St. Henry baseball team showed enough of the requisite skills necessary to win (starting pitcher Hudson Schmitz, above), taking down visiting Lima Shawnee on Monday, 7-2.

A superior starting pitching performance by Arcanum's Regan Christ spoiled the Versailles coaching debut of Bill Sturwold as the Trojans closed out the Tigers, 4-1.

Aaron Elwer’s focus on basketball, and patience for talent to develop and trust in each other, delivered Delphos St. John its first OHSAA basketball championship in 24 years.

There was no self-promoting over the quality of the hand he held throughout the season, while at the same time being ranked #1 in Division VI.  And in the end, St. Henry's Nate Uhlenhake chose to let his team prove their own qualities by winning the school's first-ever OHSAA title in girls basketball.
