McCoy: UD Flyers Endure Lost In Philly Four Days

The Dayton Flyers began a four-day trip to Philadelphia with a 5-and-0 record in the Atlantic 10 Conference, then were upset twice in four days at LaSalle (67-64) Wednesday and at St. Joseph's (81-74), a pair of defeats that put the Flyers in dire straits on the league standings.

The University of Dayton Flyers fell behind, 33-8, in the first half Wednesday night in Philadelphia at LaSalle, but chipped away and closed the gap to one point late in the game, but Javon Bennett's last-second three-point attempt to tie the game clanked off the rim and the Flyers suffered a stunning defeat, 67-64.
