McCoy: UD Flyers Falter And Flop Again

For the third straight game, the heavily-favored University of Dayton basketball team tripped over the half-court line and tripped over the foul line and lost another Atlantic-10 Conference game, dropping the Flyers to 1-3 in league play and the loss to George Mason ended UD's 26-game winning streak in UD Arena.

McCoy: UD’s ‘Bench Brigade’ Rises Up

When needed, the University of Dayton bench can make a difference and it did on New Year's Eve against LaSalle in the Atlanta 10 opener, an 84-70 win for the Flyers. Four bench players came out of their chairs to score 26 points and grab 19 rebounds.

McCoy: Slow Start Lethal In UD Loss

With an excellent opportunity to improve their No. 22 rankings, the University of Dayton Flyers were flat in the first 11 minutes of the game and made no baskets against No. 18-ranked Cincinnati. After falling 18 points behind, the Flyers made a run in the final sevcn minutes, creeping to within four, but lost 66-59.
