The last guy on the pile (Maddox Goubeaux, #18) pitched them to the Final Four...Smashing a young Cedarville team in the regional final, Russia claimed its fourth consecutive trip to the OHSAA baseball Final Four Thursday with incentive to spare.

Russia One Win From Return Trip To State

Braylon Cordonnier, making his fifth start back from an injury that only allowed him to play shortstop, dominated Mohawk with 13 strikeouts, and catcher Cooper Unverferth ignited an offense that sometimes needs a boost. The Raiders hit up and down the lineup in their seven-run sixth. Ninth-place hitter and freshman Quinn Hoying pushed the lead to 5-0 with a two-run single. (pictured)
