For the second day in a row the Buckeye failed to pitched and paid a price. Michigan State hung 17 runs and 16 hits on them in a 17-12 series-winning effort.

Opinion...for five innings they had the pitching from freshman Gavin DeVooght (above) and enough hitting to win most games. But facts intervened over the final four innings to cost the Buckeyes the finale of the Michigan series, as well as the series, itself.
