Mason Ace, Slugger Too Much For Troy In District Final

Mason defeats Troy at this stage of the tournament for the second straight year. And the Trojans, who surpassed expectations by making it this far, will long remember that it was Jake Hanley who they couldn't hit and who swung a powerful bat. Caleb Akins (pictured) battled through his pet peeve of five walks and struck out seven against Mason's powerful lineup.
