‘Hail’ Yeah…Defense Leads The Way For St. Henry Win On Opening Night

It took a stout showing from the defense (above), and a 60-yard punt return for touchdown before the half to jump start the offense.  But it all worked out - a team win, they call it - as St. Henry topped Celina for a season-opening win.

St. Henry's Karlee Baumer brought the excitement with three hits and nine stolen bases in a U14 barn-burner. Teammate Adalyn Zimmerman knocked in three runs and scored two more, enough to overcome Fort Loramie, and Lauren Poeppelman's 13 Strikeouts.
