What I Saw (And Heard) Last Week…December 1, 2025

It's really not hard to guess about...the excitement over St. Henry winning to advance to the OHSAA finals this weekend, or, Ohio State beating Michigan in Ann Arbor on Saturday.  Both brought a veritable holiday sleigh full of 'Reader Speaks' responses from equally-appreciative followers.

Worth the wait (and a penalty)...The Buckeyes' Davison Igbinosun enjoyed his fourth quarter interception a bit too much for the officials' liking, but there's no doubt about it...the Buckeyes' 27-9 win over Michigan was worth more than any fifteen yard penalty. St. Henry Blanks Columbus Grove In Second Half, Earns First Trip To Canton Since 2006

Charlie Werling (above) threw a pair of TDs on the first two drives, and an inspired St. Henry defense took it from there. The Redskins shut out Columbus Grove in the second half to claim a 13-10 victory. They'll face Hillsdale in their first state title game since 2006.
