But at the Minster Classic, a balanced approach between a passion for winning and a love for playing makes it worth competing every year, win, lose or draw. Russia's Eli Shappie (pictured) pitched four innings, striking out four, and allowing no runs on two hits.

St. Henry's Karlee Baumer brought the excitement with three hits and nine stolen bases in a U14 barn-burner. Teammate Adalyn Zimmerman knocked in three runs and scored two more, enough to overcome Fort Loramie, and Lauren Poeppelman's 13 Strikeouts.
