The University of Dayton basketball team fell behind by 13 points in the first half and trailed by 10 with 11 minutes left against Northwestern Saturday night in UD Arena. But the Flyers used a 20-3 run to grab the lead it never relinquished in a 71-66 win.

Minster Overwhelms St. Henry In Playoff Rematch

Two months ago on a soggy night Minster beat St. Henry 12-7 in a nailbiter. But in cleaner conditions, Minster's talent and wealth of offensive weapons prevailed, and the Wildcats earned a third consecutive regional semifinal bid. Minster outrushed St. Henry 299-17 in the 42-14 victory. Connor Schmiesing runs up the middle for a 77 yard touchdown moments after an assistant coach exhorted him to “run into the hole like a dude.” (pictured)
