If you haven’t noticed already, recent changes on Press Pros makes it faster…and more secure. Good for you, and us!
Some of you have already responded, saying they’ve noticed the difference.
Changes to the operating system of Press Pros have made the site respond faster, load quicker, and more efficient to the end user. “Twice as fast as before,” says everyday reader Joe B., from Florida.
The changes were necessary, as the old operating system simply could not keep up with the volume of traffic and the content. You’ll notice the speed, of course, but other updates will go unnoticed. Protection for frequent readers, and your computer. Better site security. Better access for mobile devices. And if you look close, bigger and better photos and graphics.
Some others will be added over the next few days and weeks…a proprietary page highlighting the Shelby County League, new scholarship opportunities, added football coverage on Friday nights, and well…if I told all I know you’d have no reason to look for yourself.
In the meantime, our sincere thank you for your patience over the past six weeks, as we decided to muddle through the changes at reduced speed rather than go offline altogether. And you actually may notice added improvement presently on a day-to-day basis. Something to do with “domain naming systems”, and other technical mumbo-jumbo that I can’t explain. It just works.
