Last Call For Hal McCoy Applications

If you haven’t, and want to, you need to read and contact us for your application for this year’s Hal McCoy scholarship award…before it’s too late!

One of the truly unique things we do at Press Pros is support future young writers, journalists, and even those whose life path may include teaching others.

And to that end we offer the annual Hal McCoy award for graduating high school seniors who want to study journalism, communications, or even classroom language arts in college.

But if you’re interested…you need to contact Press Pros now to receive an application.  It’s a $2,500 one-time award, and there’s not a lot of competition for it given that there’s such a narrow field of interest…which makes it even more attractive.  YOU HAVE A GREAT CHANCE OF WINNING!

Past winners include David Brauer (2013, Newton), Kris Lee (2014, Lehman), John Husa (2014, Lehman), and Melissa Mengos (2015, Troy).

Deadline for receiving applications is April 1, 2015.  That’s APRIL 1, 2016.  And to contact us simply send an email to Sonny@staging.pressprosmagazine.com.  There’s no catch, but you must apply and write a short essay.  Winners will be announced in mid-May, 2016.

Hey, it’s free money and a great boost to your freshman year of college study.

It’s last call…apply today!
